When it boils down

to what is worthy

in how we live,

there can be quarrels

amid the many personas

that make up ego,

with it's frailty, stubbornness

wanting to be known

for doing something wonderful

extraordinarily so, for recognition

we didn't waste life

but stood up, acted,

performed for societal accolades,

yet the real acclaim

is the simple loving

of self for 'being,'

magnificent in our purity,

finally embracing miraculous embodiment.
