I can rail
against slowing
down,
often when virus
runs through
system
robbing me of
energy to
accomplish
what mind instructs
body to
complete,
'giving in' becomes
an awkward
experience,
reading, sleeping more,
not pushing,
accepting,
waiting for vitality
to return
while
doing small neglected
chores, putting
things
back in order.
