patterned seasons,

shared characteristics,

March rain

before Easter,

Spring teased

with sunshine

exciting people

into activities,

the grayness

zaps energy,

reminds inwardness,

watching thoughts,

dreams, desires,

parade past,

repeating mantra

whether healthy

and enlivening,

or distorted

from contraction

that fears

any future

possible failure,

not rejoicing

more opportunities

to inhabit

life potential

again today.
