Absence bequeaths renewed senses

often vanquishing mundane reality,

where familiar viewed shapes,

colors, lips, eyes, smile,

radiate a sterling essence

as if newborn child

recognizing for first time

loving presence of parents,

swinging legs, arms, grinning,

this I felt, experienced,

last night with Grace,

marveling her 'light' composition,

soul, beauty, expressed personality,

the way she moves,

talks, acts on inspiration,

laughs in miraculous wonder

of being herself fully

within this magical world,

while I'm beside her

awe struck, during reunion.
