about hot weather,

economy, war, people,

creating defensive release

thought to help

release pressure, stress,

though opposite occurs

by continual poisoning

focused on negativity,

instead recognize 'validity',

'What is, is!'

triggers inner experience

allowing open unfolding

into our mediumship

between Heaven, Earth ...

as purification filter

willing absorb, transmute.

on heart and psyche,

depending good, bad interpretation

repetition becomes wanted, avoided,

albeit not Pavlov's dog

we have constant choice,

yet attention to messages

coming from all directions

can overwhelm the hardy,

though wisdom isn't necessary

it can assist discernment,

by others still alive

as I enter ground,

may they remember me

for distance toward aliveness

my troubled 'being' traveled,

transcending 'called in' challenges

marrying me to humanity

through participation, shared angst,

of living difference between

inhabited 'soul' and 'ego',

birthed naturally as former,

purely potent, original, unmarked,

defenseless against societal onslaught

from family, school, church,

peer pressure, cultural conformity,

required ingredients spurring transformation

spoils bunch in business world

where unscrupulous contractor reflects poorly

on tradesmen who are honest,

so hard estimates become paramount

made free by larger companies

the little guy suffers competition

less able to afford research

though obligated to give 'quote'

as bottom line hiring rationale,

forget character, integrity, it's money

that rules roost in commerce

where trusted handshake, spoken word,

sealing a mutually beneficial deal

in golden days of community

is seen as foolish, risky,

no matter history of friendship,

now fearful fathers teach daughters

to forfeit openness for surety.

that by letting go

and holding space loosely

there is opportunity present

for desire's ultimate fulfillment

beyond even greatest imagination

mustered through mental gyrations

of how one attains

manifestations of work, love,

daily joy, abundance, peace,

with hard fast rules

designed like mechanical industry

able to mold duplicates,

pump out societal perks,

feed ideas of success,

create longing never satisfied,

yet, when accepting 'suchness',

relaxed with perfect trust

graceful sweet flowing life

even if mental list

of possibility includes work

on a Sunday afternoon,

easier at tail end

to long celebratory weekend

that included visiting family,

honoring Mom on birthday,

meeting with friends also,

there's sense of belonging

connecting Nature, Source, myself

as 'One Omnipotent Energy',

reminded hosting radio show

sending larger spiritual concepts

While in throes of challenge

between what was, and future,

there is doubt of latter,

afraid present turmoil will persist

beyond one's capability to manageably

persevere into dreamed of horizon,

and it's often simple anticipation

leaning forward toward one's longing

of doing some original thing

about day's promise magically unfolding,

like mysterious intrigue meeting someone

or old friend from past,

I'm a Celt at heart

feeling it deep within soul,

the more I delve into

listening to John O'Donohue talk

about Celtic Wisdom, Anam Cara,

there's surreal connection with ancestry

which isn't linear based race,

think artists, poets, beauty lovers,

big spirits connected to Nature,

Source, dancing in magic, miracle,

daily Existence playing with surprise,

spontaneity, entertaining essential childlike joy,

yet fierce warriors defending goodness,

truth, what's wholly life affirming,

freedom lovers, tied to family,

community, they'd sing troubles away,

laugh, revere ceremony, life's 'roundness',

unearthing 'Season wisdom', lessons, grace,

emulating sun, moon's, circular route.

to shifts in wellness,

whether it be body,

mind, spirit, or emotion,

then adjustments can happen

much sooner than later

without waiting for decline

that disables normal functioning,

'Feed colds, starve fevers.'

is partial collective wisdom,

'Plentiful rest, drink fluids.'

becomes common sense mantra

not just for sickness

but also everyday health,

suggesting we ingest goodness

through thought, food, environment,

as if helpless,

to escape malaise,

shrug off aspects

of self pity

making the deviant dangerous

one's activities and behavior

political and social leanings,

than common 'mis-takes',

when I measure,

compare good, bad,

right, wrong judgments

carrying accordant feelings

reflecting self worth

dependent on results

when valuing 'control over',

people want expectations fulfilled

most likely having experienced

some negatively impacting episode

of disappoint in past

swearing to limit such

in any future endeavors,

but there are many

as 'unexpected' brought joy,

extremely so, beyond dreams,

where mysterious 'What's next?'

within some quandary or dilemma,

simply put, 'fun versus responsibility'

even though these words confuse,

more succinctly it's 'joy improvement'

having heard this drives humanity,

often confused with instant gratification,

imagine it's on spiritual plane

living inspired deeply satisfying moments

that please when recollecting past

while being grounded continuous springboard

for future exploration into Unknown

realm I call 'life purpose,

Lately the fun is

in seeing what happens

when opening to 'Yes!'

as life offers up

possibilities to shift direction,

whether subtly or overtly,

this stirs up questions

contemplated to remove 'apprehension'

that 'changes' won't please,

which can create pressure

imagining unrealistic work acceleration

while discarding personal plans

meant to keep balance

within my varied existence,

where chosen diversions test

making me unnaturally tight

until I relax into

asking 'What's needed now?'

for effectively influenced decisions.

Whether learning something awkward

like softball's hitting, throwing,

or assembling work project

cutting, gluing joints, clamping,

there is physical manipulation

that can feel alien,

likewise in mental realm

trying to orchestrate reality

with it's dancing variables,

not only external influences

but internal thoughts, dreams,

effected by adequate sleep,

a sound, healthy diet,

good exercise, expressed emotions

when inevitable misjudgments occur,

allowing for instructive opportunity

to engage 'whole' self

linking virgin nuanced connections

into coordinated advance forward.

One must justify another,

there is intimate coherence

between how and what,

which begs the question

does 'the system' change

by working within it,

playing on slanted field

accepting the insane rules

trying to mend symptoms

but not cancerous root

of capitalism's 'power over',

there's rock, hard place,

when creating something new

needing springboard financial support

yet unwilling to prostitute

self, energy, one's dream,

postponed in debilitating quagmire

wasting precious potential on

misaligned means to end.
