Preciousness strikes me

when opening heart

to feel love

I have now

for this life,

friends, family, lover,

acquaintances I've known,

my animal companions,

teachers, young, old,

our glorious Earth,

immediate land surroundings,

the trees, birds,

garden, wild growth

surrounding home, shop,

medicine wheel, where

praying for ancestors

Dad is remembered

having passed on,

thankfully Mom's alive.
