In the end we'll see

from clarity of hindsight knowledge

what drove us passionately onward

no matter what results followed,

or the interpretation we give

to each turn in road,

like coming to forked decision

when asking deep inner questions

feeling into heart/mind guidance

and principals we live by,

whether there was real coherence

with every aspect of Self

mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical,

'Did I stand for something?'

within connection bigger than ego,

it's petty concerns seen retrospectively

that kept separation as viable

thinking survival is about this,

protecting oneself, not taking risks

which feed 'soul core' yearning

in each human's beating heart,

tuned into Earth's magnetic field

where our resonance effects Hers

we often wobble in Universe

going through cycles of life,

large, small, personally, and collectively,

meeting choice points, then acting.

Certainty can be elusive

as is confident mind

yet decisions demand commitment,

in moment, for power

to follow through wisely

with needed detailed attention

being aware of changes

tides going in, out,

that test one's sureness

whether new information supports,

or undermines, previous stance

unlike Scottish lighthouse foundation

which contains rooted quality

ably withstanding seasonal storms

reminder to individual souls

of our Essence connection

inherently bonded with Source

informing Life Purpose journey,

this adventure into Mystery,

where security is secretive

waiting our 'wonder questions',

part of aligning vitality,

when answers inspire action

inevitably leading to more

driven by intended outcome

juicy dreams that lap

upon shore of clarity.

Choices

We are led to the edge,

to leap, be pushed, or to hold on,

the selections made define us

setting tone for future progressions,

we weigh alternatives in illusion

imagining repercussions as guidelines

options limited through fear

electing direction from perceived comfort,

we want insured security

meant to keep us from any suffering

unwittingly we choose slow suffocation

robbing our energy to live freely,

we often break surface for a moment

when situation or person jolts our spirit

an opportunity to kick start the engine

removing the film of lifeless pursuits,

we understand our predicament sometimes

but the thought of change paralyzes

too tired to entertain the revolution

until the pain of staying outweighs the leaving,

we then muster the courage necessary

being led by the will to survive, and live fully,

making the tough choices that nourish our soul.
