We entertain God

when thinking control

of life events,

what we'll do,

how, where, why,

it's nice thought

to imagine influence

over physical reality

and there is

in present moment,

but past, future,

those are different,

out of hand

not our domain

so it's humorous,

also to me

that folks 'expect'

then are unhappy

as living shifts

into different format,

effecting one's style,

perhaps looking foolish

for the effort

placed on calendar

all the appointments,

things thought important,

whenever plans change.
