We get on our path

after erratic distractions fall apart

from questioning truth and answers,

our illusory house of cards

filled with objects deemed necessary,

plus goals attained, societal accolades,

any number of comfort stories

that reassure our ego vanities

in charge of protective fortress

keeping marauding fear at bay,

yet, 'What we resist, persists.'

until spiraling soul purpose journey

refines itself at circling apex,

and distortions simply fall away

because we've become embodied Source

willing to walk naked, vulnerable,

into jaws of the Unknown,

witnessing boundaries dissolve, territory expand,

within courageously immersed Love interludes'.
