Reminded recently when bumping into Cindy.

Lost Opportunities

There is dissatisfaction aspect

in arrogant, striving humanity,

with sense of entitlement

for things being different

than what life offers,

here, now, in career,

home, health, intimate relationships,

and I'm often guilty

such as being blessed

to attract powerful women,

wonderfully diverse, beautiful goddesses,

who I loved willingly

then walked away from,

where yesterday, reminded thrice

of my good fortune,

and seemingly utter ineptitude

whenever being with someone,

while deeper reflection reminds

lessons about lost opportunities.
